Applications are invited from eligible athletes, sportsmen and women (Fresh/Renewal) for the award of Sports Scholarships under the Talent Identification & Sports Promotion Scheme of Mangalore University, for the year, 2011-2012. The scholarship carries a sum of Rs.1,000/- per month, and a contingency grant of Rs.2,500/- annually.

Candidates who are studying in 1st/2nd year Degree Courses in colleges affiliated to Mangalore University, who have represented and excelled in sports and games at the state level, national and international levels, and are less than 20 years of age as on 1-7-2011, are eligible to apply.
